In an era where fast fashion commands accelerated turnover, true luxury remains defined by the patience of human hands and the sanctity of time.
Zardozi — originating from the Persian words zar (gold) and dozi (sewing) — has a rich history across South Asian royal courts, where ceremonial fabrics and wedding robes were embellished with fine metallic wires and embellishments. In our workshop, every motif is sketched by hand onto tracing paper, transferred via fine chalk, and meticulously hand-embroidered on traditional wooden adda frames.
"A machine can repeat a pattern, but only a skilled artisan's hand can bring depth, life, and grace to pure gold and silver tilla work."
Our artisans utilize real bullion coils, sitara sequins, and cultured freshwater seed pearls, each secured with durable silk thread. A single bridal ensemble requires upwards of 200 hours of meticulous handwork, transforming rich velvet and silk into heirlooms to cherish for generations.
